GET TO KNOW JAYDEN

Jayden is excited to run for Vice Chair of the Florida Democratic Party with a bold plan to raise funds, enhance accessibility, improve voter registration, and leverage data. As the current Chairman of the Florida Future Leaders PAC, Jayden led the largest youth organizing operation ever seen in Florida, raising over $1 million, maintaining a 100+ staff, and producing record-breaking youth voter turnout at a number of Florida colleges and universities. Jayden is a firm believer that if we are to eventually end the Republican stranglehold in Florida, it will be through building the next-generation of leaders, candidates, and voters for the Democratic Party.

Priorities & Platform

  • By expanding the donor base and increasing engagement, Jayden is ready to create a structure that fosters long-term relationships with key supporters. It’s time to introduce a tiered donor system with exclusive benefits, such as event invitations, thank-you calls, and unique merchandise, all designed to deepen donor interactions and strengthen commitment to the party’s success. Moreover it is critical that we establish/reform a Small Business Caucus, which we can use to strengthen relationships with our local DEC’s to save money, raise dollars, and relationally organize through within our communities. Additionally, we must re-engage our municipal and state elected officials within our party to increase fundraising, with one example being digital ads targeting small dollar donors. Through this we will be able to enhance our elected official and candidate name ID’s, raise new small dollar donors, and reform our existing donor data network, which will be shared with candidates and DEC’s for their own use.

Our party is a business as much as it is a movement, let us operate that way and we will be able to enhance our dollar raising to support all Democrats moving forward.

  • Establish regional Organizing Directors to streamline communication and provide each DEC with a dedicated liaison. Set clear goals for each county, focusing on priority districts, voter registration, and contact metrics to drive progress and accountability. This approach will boost local engagement and ensure every district has the resources for success. It will also assist DEC’s and campaigns with knowing who to always approach regarding any questions that may arise for strategy or organizational integrity. Far too often there is a breakdown of communications within our organizing, it is time to fix that.

  • Republicans in Florida currently have over 1+ million more registered voters than Democrats. It is our party’s most important mission to not only draw-down this margin, but to eventually overcome it. However, it is incredibly important that we approach it strategically and focus on voter registration in specific precincts that overlap with key municipal, state legislative, and congressional districts. Through regional Organizing Directors, our DEC’s, candidates, and various other entities, we have a real ability to carry-out an extensive and targeted voter registration campaign. Our DEC’s must be armed with the training and resources to be help lead such a mammoth task, and also be given messaging that can be used when talking to voters, including Republicans. In order for this to be successful we must also move back to paper voter registration efforts while enhancing our focus to youth voters across the state.

  • Efficient organizing starts with accurate data! The party must work to ensure data is shared statewide, expand the data team to analyze and update existing information, and implement a training program for all DEC’s on VoteBuilder and data management. We must also invest in purchasing new data, including unregistered voters, phone numbers, and addresses, to strengthen outreach and maximize impact. This will allow us to fully target voters in key districts, while also testing new strategies, such as directly texting unregistered voters and persuading them to register as Democrats!
